About Me
A meticulous and fast-working senior-level editor with over 30 years of experience and advanced editing skills utilizing industry-standard software, including Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and others, with a working knowledge of 3D modeling and animation software such as Blender and Cinema 4D.
I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Theater. and got my first job in the industry shortly after. I was the assistant producer, director, and editor as well as dog walker and bringer of lunches for three years. From there, I went freelance for several years, serving in a variety of production roles, until editing became my focus.
I was part of an edit team for a children’s show called Bloopy’s Buddies, followed by a six-month gig on another team cutting stories for a history education video collection. When those were done, I freelanced for Banyan Productions and TLC on a number of their reality-based TV shows, Dating Story, Wedding Story, Baby Story, Makeover Story, and Gimme Shelter, to name a few. Subsequently, I joined the team at Center City Film & Video to continue that work, and I stayed for 28 years.
Typically supporting producers and directors, I very often collaborated directly with clients as more of a producer/editor to craft their messaging. Creatively interpreting their concepts, from design to final output by shaping their stories from hours of interviews, and supporting them with compelling B-roll, stock imagery, motion graphics, and music. As the go-to editor for many clients, I consistently earned their satisfaction and retention. Often managing multiple projects simultaneously, I also consistently met client deadlines.
I was a lead editor on many projects over 28 years. Most recently, I cut 13 20-30 marketing videos, over 120 sizzle videos, and short social media teasers for more than 10 of StarVista Live’s Malt Shop Memories, Flower Power, 70’s Rock & Romance, and Ultimate Disco cruises, as well as editing daily over 60 All Access Pass sit and chat programs aired on board each cruise. I edited the feature film “What Happens Next?”, and I created a CGI set extension for an award-winning short, Regrets.
